In a story by Reuters Sega's board members have given permission for a go-ahead with talks about the Sammy and Namco mergers. This is in regard to the news story last week where Namco stated they hope to re-open talks with Sega about the two comapnies merging.

All three companies are expected to give their financial earnings in a few weeks time.
