Multiple leaks in the last few days have revealed details of what is almost certainly the next big Sonic title, Sonic Unleashed. All the details inside...

First, the facts: assets for a new Sonic game hit Sega's FTP site during the weekend - which were then swiftly deleted when they began to appear on Sega fansites and blogs. The screens showed what appears to be a major new title for Sega's flagship character, currently code-named "Sonic Unleashed".

We're loving just how good this title is looking. Check out this gameplay footage, purportedly from the Xbox 360 version of the title:

SonicStadium.org reports that we'll be seeing the game revealed on the cover of the next PLAY magazine, while full details of the Wii release will also feature in the Official Nintendo Magazine's August issue.

According to reliable German site Sega-magazin.de, the title is currently scheduled for a worldwide release in November, and is expected to launch on Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360. The aforementioned site also has a picture of Sonic with what looks like a werewolf version of himself. Interesting stuff.
