After much hype and speculation SEGA has finally unveiled Sonic Generations but it would seem the title is not being released on Nintendo consoles.

For a while SEGA has teased fans about the 20th anniversary of their mascot hedgehog and now they have finally unveiled a teaser trailer for the new game Sonic Generations. The trailer features two Sonics; a current one and one based on the older designs.

Disappointingly at the end of the video the only consoles listed are PS3 and Xbox 360, seemingly suggesting that the game is not being released on any Nintendo consoles. Whether or not SEGA has something unique planned for the Nintendo Wii and/or 3DS, akin to Sonic Colours, remains to be seen.
