Shinji Mikami has stepped down as head of the company who created the Resident Evil series, Capcom's Production Studio 4.
It has been reported by a Japanese stock-market analyst that Shinki Mikami who was the head of Capcom's Production Studio 4 has stepped down. He will however stay as a producer but this new role will mean less input into the creation of the games.
While Mikami may have stepped down because he wants to concentrate on being a producer of his own games there are also rumours that low sales of his recent projects such as P.N.03 were also a factor.
Capcom will announce it's annual results in a few days, and we will see just how well the company is doing. Recently they cancelled production of 18 of their games.
