Namco have today released a new trailer for the upcoming real-time strategy game on the DS.

In "Real Time Conflict: Shogun Empires", players take on the role of one of two brothers who are engaged in bloody combat in feudal Japan. Overtaking nearby territories and amassing fearsome armies, only one warrior will be able to survive the deadly feud to realise his ambitions and claim the title of Shogun.

Manage armies using the touch of your finger by giving orders, changing formations and selecting units with ease for smooth, organized battles rarely seen outside of a PC real-time strategy game. In between conquests, players can take part in touch screen mini-games, such as castle sieges and sea battles.

For the ultimate in feudal warfare, eight players can go head to head in ferocious battles using the wireless capabilities of the Nintendo DS.
