For all of you who are too impatient to wait until 9am on Friday several Virgin Megastores are opening at midnight. Huzzah!

Five selected Virgin Megastores will be swinging their doors open at midnight on Thursday, perfect for those who want their DS first, or insomniac CD-purchasers. The five stores that will be opening can be found below.

• London 14-19 Oxford Street
• Birmingham 41-43 The Pavillion Shopping Centre, 38 the Hight Street
• Liverpool 8-9 Tops Plaza, Clayton Square Shopping Centre
• Glasgow 235 Buchanan Street
• Cardiff 7-9 Capital Arcade, The Capital, Queens Street

For the person who queues up earliest (or pushes the most) and gets through the doors first they will receive one of five t-shirts which show off just how quickly they got their Nintendo DS. However, the next fifty people who get through the doors will receive a t-shirt that says "I was TOUCHED by Nintendo DS".

The first fifty people who enter the Oxford store will also be rewarded with a Nintendo DS goody bag. Furthermore free games will be given out at the Oxford branch while stocks last, but no stock level has been indicated.

If you are even luckier, one person who attends the Oxford branch will get an all-expenses paid trip to Nintendo's headquarters in Japan. During the trip they will be able to meet Shigeru Miyamoto.

So for those who are willing to face the cold and live near one of the five cities this is the perfect chance to get the DS as soon as possible, and possibly more!
