Low-priced boxing title heads to the Wii. It was bound to happen anyway...

As rumoured in a previous article, a low-priced boxing game Showtime Boxing is heading to the Wii. Developed by Zoo Digital, the game offers more options than Wii Sports Boxing.

The game offers 14 boxers (7 heavyweights and 7 lightweights), as well as the ability to customise your character. Working your way through the six title series will earn you more boxers, arenas, clothes and gloves. The Wii controls will allow you to throw punches, dummy, dodge, block and duck, as well as utilising a three-punch combo, which is unique to every character. Multiplayer is available through a "Wii Hotseat" mode.

While the game may not seem that interesting, it does bode well for the other titles that have been revealed through Hollywood Video's retail list.
