... but what about the Revolution? Hear what Capcom have to say inside!

Capcom's Research & Development, Keiji Inafune, has recently said he expects Capcom to release Resident Evil 5 simultaneously on both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 platforms.

"We want to grow the Resident Evil series into a multi-platform franchise, so we hope to release it simultaneously," Inafune said. "But since we don't know the launch period for the PS3 yet, it's hard to say [if we can]."

He made no mention of a Revolution version of the seventh main incarnation of the survival horror series (counting Code Veronica and Zero), and Capcom are still stating that "a Revolution version has not been announced at this time."
