Nintendo confirms a plethora of titles which will hit Europe in 2009.

A recent release listings page has confirmed the release of several big-name first party titles in Europe.

On the DS front, notable titles include Rhythm Paradise and Pokemon Platinum, which are both promised for the first half of 2009. Mario and Luigi 3 and Kirby Superstar Ultra are down for a general 2009 release.

Moving onto the Wii side of things, Nintendo's first wave of Play on Wii GameCube remakes will be Pikmin, which hits on 6th February and Mario Power Tennis exactly a month later. The Wiimake of critically acclaimed Pikmin 2 and fan-favourite Punch Out!! Wii will also make it out before the first half of the year is up.

Finally, the list confirms major Wii games which will make release in Europe, albeit under a vague "2009" release. These titles are Wii Sports: Resort, Endless Ocean 2, Another Code: R and Sin & Punishment 2.
