News: Sin & Punishment Reaches Europe

Sin & Punishment finally reaches Europe after 7 years. Plus two more Virtual Console titles added today...

Today's Virtual Console update gives us Sin & Punishment on the N64 (1200 Points), Gradius III on the SNES (900 Points) as part of the Hanabi Festival; and Legend of Hero Tonma on the TurboGrapX (600 Points).

Sin & Punishment was released in Japan way back in 2000, and never made it outside Japan, despite having English voice acting. It is an on-rails 3rd person shooter and received great reviews. The Virtual Console version has full English menus and HUD, however the subtitles are in Japanese. The game only runs in 60Hz.

Gradius III, a sequel to Gradius 1 and 2 (Obviously) and follows on the side-scrolling space shooter style. The biggest addition to III is a ship edit mode where you ccan mix and match missile, double, laser, shield and "special" power-ups. The game only runs in 60Hz.

The final game, Legend of Hero Tonma, is a side-scrolling platform game which involves a hero named Tommy saving a Princes by jumping on enemies' heads and using fireballs.
