News: Sixth Potter Game Delayed By Year

The release of the sixth installment of the Harry Potter franchise will be delayed even more than the movie, EA reveals.
EA and Warner Bros. have today confirmed that, as we were all expecting, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will not be launching this November. After Warner Bros. delayed the film from November to next summer to earn more cash, Electronic Arts will now also delay its release of the corresponding game - until next Winter, presumably to keep it in the lucrative holiday games release schedule.
While the film's delay annoyed legions of Potter fans worldwide, we doubt this news will surprise many. The games follow the films incredibly closely, and there was little chance of us being able to play with Harry's wand as we'd anticipated this November, when audiences the world over will now have to wait to see Ginny Weasley do it herself on the big screen next July.
The title is set to feature Quidditch, wizard duels and another chance to run around Hogwarts immersing yourself inside the wizarding world. Hopefully EA will use this extra year to really make the game shine.
