, our friends and affiliates, reported that Skies Of Arcadia will be GameCube-Exclusive. Sega of Japan has now officially announced that the Playstation 2 version of Skies of Arcadia has been cancelled. This comes after news of a new character and improvements from the Dreamcast version.

Sega's reasoning behind it was that the best would be "poured out" on the Gamecube version; and although they realized that the PS2 userbase was counting on the game, they thought it best to only release the game on the Gamecube.
