News: Slow Week for Japanese Charts

Sales remain fairly low as Mario Party 9 gets knocked off the top...
The latest Media Create charts are out, and it looks like another sluggish week for the Land of the Rising Sun.
A couple of PSP releases were the only new additions of note, enough to knock Mario Party 9 off the top spot after a multiple-week reign.
3DS continues to have a lock on the lower portion of the top-10, with Fire Emblem: Awakening and Kid Icarus: Uprising continuing to show impressive legs.
Next week should add a bit of life to the charts with the releases of Capcom's high-budget action game Dragon's Dogma and Mario Tennis Open on 3DS.
The software chart for the week of May 14th to 20th is as follows.

Sales of hardware remain fairly drab for a second consecutive week. Interestingly, Media Create has 3DS just about breathing past the six million mark in accordance with Enterbrain's figures.
