Although it has already been announced (sort-of), Sega have finally confirmed that Sonic Adventure will be released on the Cube. To dispel any confusion, read on.

Two days ago, Cube Europe reported that the original Sonic Adventure was being brought to the GameCube courtesy of Sonic Team Japan. Following the intial announcement, Sega of America spread the word that there was an entirely new Sonic Adventure game in development for the Cube.

Due to lack of communication between the American and Japanese Sega outfits, we can now confirm that the original Sonic Adventure and not a sequel to SA2 will be released in the near future. The original Sonic Adventure is considered by many to be superior to its sequel, so you should be pleased that it will be gracing the Cube very soon. Lets hope for revamped graphics and some new polish before its Cube release.
