After much deliberation, Sega finally commits to a date for Sonic Generations on 3DS...

Sega has finally confirmed a release date for the 3DS version on Sonic Generations. You'll be able to zip through classic levels as the Blue Blur on your handheld on November 25th. North America gets the game just three days earlier on the 22nd.

Generations is Sega's nth attempt at 'rebooting' the classic franchise. It blends the gameplay mechanics of the more modern 2D games with the levels, locations and character styles of the older titles.

The 3DS version will also feature StreetPass functionality, allowing you to unlock new content whenever you come into contact with fellow players.
