Sony's Kaz Hirai stresses the PS3 must focus on games to stop a runaway Nintendo victory in the console wars...
While the initial PlayStation 3 marketing may have pushed the console's array of extra functions, Sony boss Kaz Hirai wants to turn the focus back on to the one thing Nintendo have always stressed the most important - the games themselves.
"The thing that I did when I took over last year was to boast the appeal of games themselves... The main premise of the PS3 is video games. That's the absolutely most important thing that we cannot lose sight of."
After all, Sony have lost their dominant position in the market, something Hirai knows well: "We cannot allow Nintendo run off alone," he commented. Does the PS3 have what it takes for a new resurgence in the market? Let us know your thoughts below...
