News: Space Chimps Announced For Wii & DS

Rocket chimp, burning out his fuse up here alone... Brash Entertainment confirm that they will be bringing the CGI film Space Chimps to the Wii and DS.

Brash Entertainment have today confirmed that they will be bringing a new action-adventure game to the Wii and DS based on John H. Williams' (the creator of Shrek) upcoming CGI movie, Space Chimps.

Space Chimps follows the tale of Ham, a mischievous circus chimpanzee who just so happens to be the grandson of the first chimp ever to go into outer space. Ham agrees to take part in a publicity stunt which involves him being launched into orbit in order to investigate a distant new planet. Needless to say, the spaceship crash-lands, he finds his friends' lives have been put in peril at the hands of evil tyrannical overlord King Zartog, and only Ham can save the day.

The Wii version of Space Chimps will include 11 levels, 13 new enemies and a two-player co-op mode, whilst the DS version features exclusive side-scrolling action and a two-player multiplayer mode.

Space Chimps is expected to launch alongside the film of the same name this August.
