Ubi Soft have announced today that Splinter Cell for the GameCube, a huge hit on the Xbox and PC, now has a new April 8th release date in the US. No longer will it go on sale in late May, as previously announced.

The stealth game, famous for its beautiful graphics, is set to be on European shelves June 5th. Could this release date be denied for an earlier one also in this continent? We'll keep you updated. Meanwhile, enjoy our very own section for Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell.
