A brand new Star Wars title based on the animated Clone Wars TV series will be heading to the Wii and DS this autumn...

We feel... a disturbance in the Force. A Wii game that hasn't been ported from the PS2? Colour us excited! LucasArts have printed an advert for an upcoming game based on new TV series The Clone Wars on the back of the American instruction manual for Lego Indiana Jones.

Our Death Star prediction for Nintendo Power's moon hintings didn't come true, but we're still pleased to see a new Star Wars game coming exclusively to Nintendo's consoles.

The series is set to launch later this year, and is based on the fictional events of the Clone Wars, which took place between Episodes II and III in Lucas' Star Wars prequel trilogy. According to the instructions, the new game will be released in 'Fall 2008', which should coincide with the series.
