The Japanese commercial for the upcoming StarFox Command has been added to the Touch-DS media page.

One of Nintendo's "surprise" DS titles at E3, StarFox Command looks to bring the series back to its on-rails shooting roots after two somewhat divergent turns on the Gamecube. The DS-specific twist to the game (you knew there would be one) is that arwing control is accomplished largely through stylus use, not just with moving the ship around and executing barrel rolls, but even in drawing tactical paths for your squad to take through the Lylat system. The new Japanese commercial for the game focuses on demonstrating these touchscreen control elements. To its credit, the game is looking fast-paced and fun: just how a StarFox game is expected to be.

StarFox Command will be released in Japan mid-August, and later in the month for the US. In Europe, the game is still listed as 4th quarter 2006 - hopefully this means no later than a October or November release.
