Nintendo has announced that Steel Diver will be released in Europe on May 6th.

When Nintendo showcased the original DS many years ago Steel Diver was shown as a tech demo. Skip forward to 2011 and it is finally being released on the 3DS and Nintendo has just announced that it will hit European shores on May 6th.

The game offers three different game modes, Mission, Periscope and Steel Commander, that utilise the 3DS' technical capabilities in a number of ways. A two-player mode is also featured and can be accessed via Download Play.
