Activision's never ending Guitar Hero World Tour news keeps on rolling in. Sting the singer and bass player in the Police has officially been confirmed as a playable characer. The Police track "Demolition Man" from their 1981 album Ghost in the Machine also features in the songlist. Sting is featured in the latest promo video for the game below.

Not to be outdone, Tool have an unprecedented 3 tracks in the game: "Schism", "Parabola" and "Vicarious". There will also be a Tool specific venue in the game which is inspired by the distinct art style prevalent in the bands album art, stage design and music videos.
