Strategy First has announced plans to publish its PC titles on Nintendo DS, courtesy of developer Pocket PC Studios.

New titles in the Jagged Alliance and Disciples franchises were announced to be in development shortly after E3, as Cube-Europe reported, but we now have further confirmation of them being in development.

A Strategy First spokesman said of the DS that "our strategic partnership with Pocket PC Studios will allow Strategy First to enter an exciting new gaming market."

Meanwhile, Pocket PC Studios President G.R. Moore gushed it was "a fantastic opportunity for Pocket PC Studios and Strategy First to bring these phenomenal titles to the Nintendo DS platform" and said the company would "utilise [their] expertise in bringing high profile desktop games to mobile devices to expand the Disciples and Jagged Alliance franchises onto the hottest handheld console since the Nintendo Gameboy."

If previous news on the games is accurate, we should see the fruits of this partnership by the end of the year. More on these titles when we get it.
