In the latest Q&A session with the producer of Street Fighter IV, Yoshinori Ono, he opens up the possibility of a Wii version for the upcoming hit fighter.

In an interview with Siliconera, producer of Street Fighter IV, Yoshinori Ono said that a Wii incarnation of the popular fighting series could be on the way:

"The more people that ask about it, the more likely we are to move in that direction. If we get a lot of requests it will be something we will think about. It might be difficult to reproduce the graphics exactly as they are, but the gameplay should be completely intact. The very existence of Street Fighter IV was based on people asking about it for so long."

When asked if a Street Fighter using the old sprites could be made for a special Wii version, like the upcoming Megaman 9 title, Yoshinori responded with "we'll have to think about that one."
