Start your engines for the original, legendary Super Mario Kart, racing onto the Wii's Virtual Console this Friday!

From this Friday, 2nd April 2010, exclusively on the Wii Shop Channel, comes one of Nintendo's best racers of all time. It's only blinkin' Super Mario Kart, the original title in the series which has now spawned five smash hit sequels.

Despite being seventeen years old, the title still features 20 tracks, including fan favourites Ghost Valley, Bowser Castle, Koopa Beach and the infamous Rainbow Road. Costing just 800 Points, this is a must for fans of the series who have yet to see where it all began.
