News: Super Mario RPG Rated By OFLC

Which means that we'll be seeing it on the PAL Virtual Console... right?

Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars is one of the most hotly anticipated titles to be brought to the Virtual Console. Developed by Square and never released in Europe, this rare title saw Mario taking a dip into the RPG genre, laying the foundations for future classics such as the Paper Mario and Mario & Luigi series.

Whilst we know that Super Mario RPG has been rated by the ESRB for an American Virtual Console release and is due for a release this month in Japan, Europe and Australia have been left in the dark... until now. An Australian OFLC rating reveals that Super Mario RPG will be coming to the Virtual Console (or the Wii/DS, but the Virtual Console is more likely). Australia and Europe usually receive the same titles in VC and WiiWare updates, so does this mean that the title will finally be coming to all PAL regions?

In addition, when looking at the PEGI website we noticed that Plattchen - twist 'n' paint and Homestar Ruiner (episode 1 of Telltale Games' new episodic WiiWare series, Strong Bad's Cool Game For Attractive People) have been rated for a European release. Good news all round!
