Sega may be beavering away on a third incarnation in their banana-filled Super Monkey Ball franchise it emerged today, as Amazon.co.uk- popular online retailers- listed "Super Monkey Ball 3" for sale on their website. The retailer states that the title is set to ship on 31 December 2004- although the date is subject to change they hasten to add.

Now, as with many instances of a similar nature to this one, this could just be an error on the part of Amazon- or it could be something much more exciting. Rumours have been flying around now for a about a year regarding a third outing in the highly-rated puzzle series- and if it turns out that this is true- there will be a lot of happy monkeys out there tonight.
