News: Super Monkey Ball 3?

According to French video game website New Technix, a Sega insider has confirmed that Super Monkey Ball: Banana Crazy is in development. The insider also allegedly made some other revelations, we have all the information inside..

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Crazy will be making an appearance on GameCube, if French gaming site New Technix is to be believed. The website claims that the information was revealed to them by a Sega insider, who revealed some other interesting info to them as well. The insider allegedly said the title would be multiplayer based, and that a LAN feature is very likely. Apparently, he also revealed that the graphics have been given a face-lift, and that the title is set to release in early 2004. The website explains that the insider also added that the title may not be showcased at E3, but it would be displayed to the public in the following months.

According to the website, he also revealed a second title, a RPG by the name of Knight Knight. Allegedly it is to be developed by Overworks studio, and the insider added that the title would be in the vein of Skies of Arcadia. New Technix explains that the insider did not reveal the console on which the title would appear on nor the release date. Apparently the insider also added that Virtua Fighter Quest may not be shown at E3.

The website is usually reliable and it this information could well turn out to be true. We will have more as and when the news reaches us.
