Konami will be handling the localisation for Super Scribblenauts in Japan.
5th Cell's Scribblenauts and its sequel Super Scribblenauts required gamers to complete levels by using the words. The game featured an on-screen keyboard that allowed gamers to type in a word and that object would appear. The original game was well received but criticised for its control system. The sequel, Super Scribblenauts, sought to solve this and introduced adjectives, meaning if you wanted to use a tall red dinosaur then you could do.
As you can imagine a game based on words is difficult to localise for other regions but Konami localised Scribblenauts in Japan and according to Siliconera they are set to do the same with Super Scribblenauts. The title is due to hit Japanese shelves on October 13th and unlike the previous title, which was renamed Maxwell's Marvelous Notepad in Japan, the game will stick to the original name.
Konami included a number of references to their other games in Maxwell's Marvelous Notepad, such as Vic Viper and Snake, but it is not yet known if this will be the case for Super Scribblenauts.
