Fight demonic pirates, treacherous counts and rock rivals in this week's Nintendo download update!
It's a strong week for WiiWare in the Nintendo download update for this week, with just one title available for DSiWare (and still no sign of Flipnote Studio or Mario Vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again...), and with Virtual Console titles making a non-appearance after a strong month of Hanabi Festival games.
This week marks the return of the Monkey Island series to European shores courtesy of Telltale Games, as the adventure game masters kick off a new five-part episodic series entitled Tales of Monkey Island. The first episode, Launch of the Screaming Narwhal, is available today for 1,000 Wii Points - check out our dedicated article for more on that.
Next up is The Three Musketeers: One For All!, which sees you taking the role of the Musketeer Porthos in a platforming adventure as you attempt to free your partners from the clutches of Counts Xavier and Orsini, who sound scummy enough without a description. Swing the Remote to devastate enemies with your sword and solve brain-racking puzzles to foil the Counts' evil plans. This one's available now for 900 Wii Points.
The third WiiWare title this week is Driift Mania from Konami, a "totally crazy" top-down racer which features 12 courses, seven single- and multi-player game modes and enough vehicles to shake several sticks at (that's 32, fact fans!). The entry fee is 800 Wii Points for some racing action that is sure to be 'rad'.
There's just the one title for DSiWare this week - Guitar Rock Tour, which allows you to tap on the touch screen or press buttons in time to classics such as Girlfriend from Avril Lavigne. You can also take pictures with the DSi Camera to customise stages and other in-game items. Rock out for just 500 Nintendo Points.
