Some new details about Taiko Drum Master Wii 3 have emerged and Mario is making a cameo.

The Taiko Drum Master series is making a return to the Wii soon and is set to feature numerous cameos and songs from Nintendo titles. The drum simulation title will feature a New Super Mario Bros. Wii song and cameos from Mario characters.

In addition to this Adriasang reports that music from Muscle Koushinkyoku, Ridge Racer Type 4, Ace Combat X2 Joint Assault, F/A, God Eater, and Pokemon Diamond & Pearl will form part of the 70 songs on the game.

The title also features a four player party mode and seven mini games:

• Wani Wani Panic: You must hit the notes correctly to defeat the alligators.
• Haunted House: While lost in a haunted house you must perform well to keep your candle lit.
• Pirate Don-chan and the Secret Treasure: All players must defeat a giant squid using their drumming skills.
• Alien Attack: You and your friends must team up to defeat Boss Alien and if you play well enough you can use a powerful beam attack.
• To the Heavens - Cake Tower: In two teams of two players nust work together to ascend a cake tower while avoiding being taken down by a cream avalanche.
• Great Honeybee Operation: As you buzz around flowers the player who taps their taiko fastest gets the honey.
• Fairyland Pumpkin Derby: Drum well to speed up your pumpkin cart and be the first to get to the castle.
