Taito has announced it is working on a new action shooting game for the GameCube, Space Raiders.

Taito has announced it is developing a new GameCube shooter, Space Raiders. The game is an action shooter and will feature two game options: Story Mode and Survival Mode. In the game the player controls Master Kimizo, who has to save the planet from an alien invasion. The game can be played with either one or two players.
The game is slated for a Japanese release on the 9th of January. The european and american release date are still to be announced.
Information on this game is still scarce, though we have been able to get out hands on the game trailer as well as the first screen shots of Space Raiders. Enjoy!
