TDK Mediactive have been bought out by Take-Two Interactive for a whopping $12.7 million. The company will now resume the name of Take-Two Licensing, Inc. The team are the creators of such titles as Robotech and Corvette for the Game Boy Advance, and have been put in good stead by a cash injection of $4.3 million by Take-Two, which tied up the company's loose ends. Also of note, neither company will use the Shrek license granted by Dreamworks, contrary to reports that surfaced back in September.
