The official website of Namco's new DS RPG is now live.

Namco Japan has opened up the official website for Tales of the Tempest.

Fans were excited to learn last month that Namco had decided to bring its popular Tales series of RPGs to Nintendo's successful handheld. Since then, tiny, blurry screenshots hinted that the game's graphical direction would follow closely behind the cel-shaded look of its recent console releases. Now clear screens show off that look on the DS' small screen, and the results are looking promising.

The first link on the page leads to the game's story synopsis, the second character art, the third yields game screens and the fourth will allow visitors to listen to the game's theme song. Again, the newly opened site can be found here..

Though Tales of the Temepest is scheduled for an April release in Japan, outside release dates are still to be determined. Hopefully that announcement will be forthcoming.
