We recently reported that Namco revealed the title of its DS entry in the legendary Tales series of RPGs, along with the name and artwork of the game's principal character Caius Qualls, who is aged fifteen and must undertake a perilous quest to find his true parents.

The latest news on the title is that the game will use full 3D graphics for towns and the "fields of play", which we're guessing refers to the world map and such (all good RPGs have one). Perhaps suprisingly the stylus will be used for controlling the battles, which will take place in the usual linear form the series is famous for.

Finally, there's been some buzz about wireless play being included. No mention of whether this is local or online - though we'd guess the former, probably to allow different gamers to fight their characters against each other.
