Updated: Namco has announced that they are pushing back the Japanese release of their DS Tales RPG from June 8th to late 2006. The reason given was that they wanted to ensure a certain level of quality in the anticipated title. (Still, this is quite a significant delay - perhaps Namco also likes the idea of releasing the game during the lucrative winter months to maximize its sales potential?). Anyway, since us Westerners never had a real release date to push back in the first place, we can just relax and enjoy this fine trailer.

Featuring the first available gameplay footage from the title, this new trailer showcases the title's gorgeous graphics, already seen in the screenshots released.

No word on an European release date as yet, but as the Japanese launch draws nearer, hopefully it won't be too long until we hear. And when we do, we'll let you know. Check out the trailer via the link below:
