Team Meat has obtained a 3DS development kit.

At the end of last year Team Meat confirmed that Super Meat Boy was cancelled for WiiWare and suggested that they may bring it out as a retail unit. This has also now been scrapped, meaning that while Super Meat Boy was originally announced as a Wii exclusive it will never be released on the console.

However, Team Meat has told Joystiq that they have just received a 3DS development kit. They gave no details about what they are working on, simply stating "we dont know if that'll be Meat Boy or something else, but who knows?"
