Having almost completely eluded Nintendo consoles in the past, the Tekken series is coming at the Big N's new systems in a two-pronged attack. Tekken Wii U was revealed at E3, but a 3DS game was also quietly announced.

Namco Bandai has released the first trailer for Tekken 3D: Prime Edition, and it's looking mighty sweet. Not only will it pack the brutal gameplay of the series onto the portable, it will also come with Tekken: Blood Vengeance - a full-length 3D movie set in the Tekken universe.

No other details or a release date were announced for Tekken 3D: Prime Edition, but with it set to join the excellent Super Street Fighter IV and Dead or Alive: Dimensions very soon, you'd have to say its the fighting genre that's being best represented on 3DS so far.
