Telltale Games is developing new games based on the comic books Fables and The Walking Dead.

Telltale Games is a studio best known for their work on popular WiiWare titles Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People, Sam and Max and Tales of Monkey Island. Now the company has announced a deal with Warner Brothers Interactive to work on some brand new titles.

All Things Digital is reporting that Telltale Games is working alongside Warner Brothers Interactive to develop video games based on the comic book Fables, the comic book and television series The Walking Dead as well as the Jurassic Park and Back to the Future games currently in development.

The games are due out within the next year and will be available through the company's website and via downloading services such as Valve. No word yet as to whether or not they will be released on WiiWare but given the fact that Telltale Games' previous titles have often been released on WiiWare we remain hopeful.
