News: Telltale Take On Wallace & Gromit

In news that can only be described as "Cracking!", Telltale Games have confirmed that they will be taking on the loveable British duo in a new franchise.

Telltale Games are still a relatively new development studio, but have already made waves in the industry with their recognisable and rather brilliant IPs such as Sam & Max, Strong Bad's Cool Game For Attractive People and CSI. They've recently been teasing a mystery new franchise to be revealed at the 2008 San Francisco Comic Con, and we now know exactly what they've been up to recently.

The new franchise is Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures, starring the very British man and dog duo with a passion for wacky and wonderful gadgets. The game will be presented in the Academy Award winning clay style and features physical and situation based comedy. It is expected to be presented in episodic installments, as with Sam & Max and Strong Bad's Cool Game For Attractive People.

A full announcement will follow on Monday, and no platforms have been announced as of yet, so we can hold out hope for a Wii/WiiWare release (and an appearance from the chillingly homicidal penguin, Feathers McGraw).
