EA have announced that The Don will be hitting another family altogether...

Although it came as a port, received the highest review scores and sold steadily, The Godfather: Blackhand Edition will unfortunately see no sequel. Today EA announced that the sequel to the excellent motion-based title will instead head to other consoles.

"Developed at the EA Redwood Stores studio, The Godfather II will be coming to the Xbox 360 videogame and entertainment system, PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system, and PC in February 2009."

A slap to the face for Wii owners?

Having enjoyed the excellent motion controls of the original title, it is unfortunate that these controls may not see the light of day in another Mafia sandbox setting. We had a lot of fun with Blackhand Edition and certainly hungered for more.
