Put down the pitch forks and rest easy. The Grinder is still an FPS and looking for a publisher!

It was only a couple of weeks ago that The Grinder got announced as a top-down shooter for the 360 and PS3, with news on the Wii version being rather quiet. But now, fans can rest easy as High Voltage Software's creative chief, Eric Nofsinger stated, "We still genuinely love the Wii and would ideally like to see a publishing partner pick up both a FPS Wii version and a third-person action version specific to the 360 and PS3".

Eric also went on to say, "We have invested more than year into the Wii; the game is extremely fun, and frankly, we wouldn't want to see that work 'thrown away'". This will no doubt be a relief to gamers who have been following the Left for Dead inspired game ever since it got announced last year with online co-op included, especially with the fear of the game being cancelled altogether.
