The concept of The Movies is pretty simple - you get to run your own movie studio. The game starts off in 1900 and goes through to 2010, and through that you have access to the technology of the particular time period. So you start off with black and white/silent era where it's very easy to make a hit film, and as time progresses new technology gets involved - colour, sound, talkies come about - and you get to research what types of technology you want to follow up.

Last year, Lionhead already released some screens showing of some game sceneries. However, details on the user interface and controls have been pretty scarce. Today bring you the first screens taken from The Movies showcasing the userinterface. Enjoy!
