Our affiliates over at GC Advanced discovered that the South Korean computer company Logix has reached an agreement with Daewon (sp), one of Nintendo's exclusive distributors in the country, to manufacture and place coin-operated GameCubes in select establishments throughout South Korea.
The machines, which launched a few days ago on July 28, will be placed in the regular arcade gaming centers as well as in various super markets and stationery shops.
The first game to be featured is Super Mario Sunshine. More games are of course on the way. Details have yet to be uncovered regarding the actual premise of how the system works (such as memory card compatibility) or the costs involved in playing the machine itself.
