Third party behemoth Electronic Arts has revealed that Nintendo have yet to release the necessary tools to developers to allow Miis into games. While Nintendo has enjoyed several releases where the player is allowed to utilise their own personalised Mii character, all games made by third-party developers lack the appearance of Miis.
EA's producer Eric Chartrand has said that if Nintendo wants Miis to become a lasting part of the Wii's system, third-party developers need to be able to include them in their games as well. However, the problem is posed by the simplistic nature of the Miis - which would look out of place in a realistic graphical-styled game.
