News: THQ Slash Revolution Budget

Third-party developer THQ announces how their time and money will be spent next generation. And it isn't looking good for the Revolution...
THQ have revealed that a whopping 80 percent of its development resources will be split equally between titles for Sony's PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360.
It doesn't take a great mathematician therefore to realise this leaves only a meagre 20 percent for the Revolution - not reflecting well on THQ's expectations for the console.
The developer is currently doing well financially, with second quarter net sales at $142.7 million, a 48 percent rise from last year. Yet the company obviously doesn't want to risk too much on the Revolution just yet.
It's necessary to note that some (though not a significant amount) of the low Revolution budget could reflect the fact its Development Kits will be very similar to those used for the Cube. More as it breaks.
