Wrestling games have always been an enjoyable experience for gamers. Even on Nintendo consoles, as was evident in the fantastic WWF: No Mercy on the Nintendo 64. Fans have been craving for a new wrestling title to come and satisfy their hunger.

Now, the waiting appears to be over. THQ have finally confirmed that they will be bringing some fresh WWE action to both the Wii and DS.

In an investor conference call, the publisher said it would be releasing WWE products on Nintendo's latest systems sometime in its next fiscal year, which runs from April 2007 through March 2008.

Certainly a step in the right direction. An experience greater than No Mercy? Bah, we can dream, can't we. Although, you never know...
