N-Philes reported that french developer 4X Studios has announced plans to release Times of Trouble for PlayStation 2, GameCube, and Xbox.

Based in an imaginary world where the whole economic system has collapsed, Times of Trouble tells the adventures of Zak, a resourceful young boy working in a craft oil well. He will be confronted to political groups having chosen violent solutions to the economical crisis. Through his journey and his numerous encounters, Zak is discovering an universe where life is built up with and around the remains of the technologies of an economical boom past today.

The title is scheduled for release later this year.
