Free Radical Design will be bringing their first-person-shooter Timesplitters 2 to the Gamecube later this year. Free Radical is almost entirely the former Rare team that created Goldeneye so we can expect a pretty decent FPS.

Timesplitters 2 is, obviously, the sequel to the original Timesplitters, that appeared on the Playstation 2. The game was decently received, but many felt it could've been much better. So now Free Radical is out to make Timesplitters 2 even better. They will make the gameplay tighter, and the everything else better as well, is their promise.

Timesplitters 2 will be published by Eidos, and is expected in the 3rd quarter at the same time that the Playstation 2 version will be released.
