News: Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Set For Wii

Ubisoft announces Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon for the Wii, set for a November release.

Ubisoft have announced that this November, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon will get a Wii release. The game has promised to give us a "true Ghost Recon experience" with 12 missions to fight your way through, with high intesity combat and tactical infiltration while accommodating for both casual and hardcore gamers.

The players take control of Ghost operatives Hibbard and Booth, who have to fight their way to a city infested with enemies.

The title has also been built ground up with a co-op experience in mind, with 2 players in 3rd person view sharing the same screen. And the Co-op hot join mode allows a second player to join or leave the experience at any given time.

An Arcade mode was also announced that can be played in co-op mode to get achieve the highest score possible and share it with online leaderboards. However, it would appear that so far the game is actually an on-rail shooter going by previous statements and the footage seen below
